Bibi Jordan (nee Bliekendaal) is a multidisciplinary artist from New Zealand, based in Amsterdam. She addresses environmental, social, and systemic structures through a feminist lens, creating drawings, sculptures, and public works that grow, rust, glitch, turn, and sometimes burn. Bibi’s works have been awarded honorarium grants and installed internationally, including at Burning Man (Nevada), Marineterrein (Amsterdam), and Alsverjo National Park (Sweden). Through her body of work, Bibi asks not only what we make, but what makes us.

Collectives and Collaborations


TЯAsh Collective
Bibi founded TЯAsh Collective in 2022—a collective of artists, engineers, social workers, and researchers creating art from recycled materials. They’ve created sculpture every year since.

(KYBL)
KIEM, Yufei Gao, Bibi Jordan and Lorena Rode first collaborated in May 2024 for the 'Radical Connection' exhibition in Amsterdam. When student protests against Dutch ties to Israeli institutions erupted, the artists transformed their individual works into a collaborative, site-specific piece of censorship, Radical Disconnection. Each maintains a solo practice but continues to collaborate when relevant.
